Billing Associate
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Because we are in the people business, everything we do is driven by customer service. The Household Goods Billing Associate (HHG Bill Assoc) plays a critical role to our business with the proper receipt, verification, and process of household good paperwork. This ensures accurate invoicing of moving services to clients and ultimately the smooth moving experience for success, both in terms of transferee and client experience as well as revenue generation. This role works side by side with both relocation operations and household goods departments (managers, consultants, associates, and move coordinators). While the HHG Biller position is an entry level position, it is a great foundation for all other areas of relocation which includes many disciplines.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Rating and preparation of Household Goods invoices
- Maintain monthly fuel surcharge schedule
- Relieve switchboard as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
- Supports and promotes company mission, vision, and values
- Prioritize and complete multiple activities simultaneously with minimal errors
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- 5 years’ experience with invoicing activities
- Moving and storage industry preferred
- Highly skilled in Excel and Word
- Experience with Navision BC is a plus
Other:
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Aptitude to adapt to change quickly
- Strong organizational skills
- Skill to work independently with relatively little direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling effective communication with clients/vendors and co-workers
